ART CLUB - Art Journaling with Collage TASTER CLASS Northampton
Art Journaling with Collage!
Start off your very own Art Journal, or learn further techniques for your collaging and art journaling practice.
In this taster class, we will provide you with new prompts and techniques to start or add to your journal.
We provide you with practical tools for self-expression, fun activities, exciting materials and a whole new way of making.
You will end the day with lots of new work and ideas, and a brilliant way of continuing to bring creativity into your life going forward.
What is Art Journaling??? A creative practice that blends traditional journaling with diverse art forms, such as collage, to process emotions, enhance self-awareness, and promote mental and emotional well-being. It's a non-judgmental way to express thoughts and feelings without needing artistic skill, offering a safe space for personal growth, stress reduction, and self-discovery, by getting internal experiences onto paper!
All collaging materials are provided, but you are encouraged to collect and bring your own magazine and paper scraps to use and share for collaging.
Important:
Bring your own Art Journal, notebook or sketchbook, or purchase an Art Journal or a Collage Kit (available here or in person).
Tickets are a £10 donation, with 50% of proceeds going to The Lab. If you need a Pay What You Can ticket, fill in this form and we’ll see you on the day!
